According to the Miami Herald, the Miami City Commission has decided not to rescind the grant of approval from the Bayfront Park Management Trust for a second weekend of the Ultra Music Festival. Miami Commissioner Marc Sarnoff cited drug use and complaints from downtown businesses as reasons for considering the rescission. Ultra made an offer to donate $500,000 to the city to cover additional police and fire services.

There’s quickly becoming a huge catalog of progressive/stadium house tracks that all sound pretty much the same – as if the labels told every producer to copy that last one by Avicii/Swedish House Mafia. DJs requiring a more aggressive mix will reach for the?Francesco Diaz & Young Rebels take which toughens the track up, teasing with a retro-ish trance pop hook before exploding into progressive electro beats.? Fans of the big vocal records of Armin van Buuren and Markus Schulz should definitely hunt this one down.

According to CBS News, the Miami City Commission is considering a resolution to rescind the second weekend of Ultra Music Festival this year. The Bayfront Park Management Trust decided to grant approval but according to city code, the commission can override the trust. Miami Commissioner Marc Sarnoff cites drug use and complaints from downtown businesses as reasons for considering the rescission of the festival license extension for a second weekend.
