Whistling was a noticeable trend on EDM tracks this summer, so it was only a matter of time for pop-tarts to jump on board as well.? Manchester-born Jin Jin is up to the challenge as she previews her forthcoming Rhythm Homicide (she kills every track, get it), with the playfully electropop “Whistle at Me.” Singing about walking down the street and enjoying the attention of people, her breezily-effected vocals glide smoothly over catchy pop beats.? Imagine the offspring of Robyn and Rye Rye doing a tongue-in-cheek song for the Cheetah Girls and you got an idea. Yes, it’s pop, but there is something so addictive here that it’s hard to stop clicking repeat.
