You’ve heard of the Swedish House Mafia, now it’s time to discover the Finnish House Mafia. Heavyweight DJs is a collective of five Helsinki-based DJs, Dj Rascal, Leo Lotsaless, DJ Mista S, Boris Jetski, and Kid Lo, who have been releasing hot tracks (“One and Only,” “Don’t Stop”), remixes (Alex Metric, Dirty South) and bootlegs (Adele, Prodigy) with their unique fusion of big room house and electro. Already big in their native Finland, their eyes are on the rest of the world with “Come Alive,” a radio friendly club anthem complete with sing along vocals over a gorgeous drop out and powerful electro beats. The tongue-in-cheek Alice in Wonderland themed video is quite clever as well. With strong tracks like “Come Alive,” there is no question “why we do this every night” in clubland.
