As producers and songwriters, Miriam and Olivia, the Australian twin sisters of Nervo, have been responsible for massive records for artists like David Guetta (“When Love Takes Over”), Kylie Minogue, Ke$ha, Nicole Scherzinger, and Britney Spears. Morphing into DJ/producers, the duo have been touring relentlessly and releasing club records- first with vocalist Ollie James (“Irresistible” and “This Kind of Love”) and, more recently, as singers themselves with “We’re All No One” (with Afrojack and Steve Aoki) and now “You’re Gonna Love Again.” Co-produced and co-written by Tim Bergling (aka Avicii), the atmospheric sound rises into big room progressive, becoming anthemic and uplifting but not going too far and hitting the cheesy extreme. Vocally, the duo sounds like a mixture of Tegan & Sara and Pat Benetar with a pretty timbre edged out with some roughness. The original version is gorgeous on its own, though we can’t wait to hear the forthcoming remixes by Mync, Marco V, and Pleasurekraft.
