It has grown to encompass a lot of underground music and indie pop that has been remixed and or mashed up with other music. Made popular by such sites as trashmenagerie.com, missingtoof.com, and bigstereo.com, this genre provides music that anyone with internet access can download.

Definition: Disco House is a sub-genre of electronic dance music. It is classified as the combination of modern house music with elements of classic disco, whether through samples or thematic similarities.

Definition: Electro is a genre of electronic dance music. It is characterized by the use of drum machines, typically the Roland TR-808, electronic sounds (sometimes known as ?blips and beeps?), monotone ? sometimes vocoder ? vocals, and a general lack of acoustic instruments.
