Uh-oh, watch out, Marina! ?There’s a new chick on the block and she’s coming right at your musical jugular. ?Cinnamon Girl (not to be confused with songs by both Prince and Neil Young) is a synth-pop artist who’s got some serious chops. ?”Devil In Me” comes across as just the right track at just the right time, scaling back on the heavy electronic production for a quirky and compelling track. ?Could Cinnamon Girl’s biggest asset be her voice? ?Or perhaps her apparent knowledge of a variety of instruments? ?Better yet, is it her obvious grasp over just what makes great pop music? ?Whatever it is, “Devil In Me” is an amazing track. ?Enjoy.
